| COOKHAM DEAN MAGPIES 2006/07 |
All the U18 teams played in small groups of 4 teams before the league finalised the divisions that they were to compete in for the rest of the 2006/07 season, so the first 3 on the results/fixtures list are their mini league fixtures only
(there was no set home and away at this stage)!
This then determined the strength of the teams and they were then seeded
accordingly.Cookham Dean Magpies
went into Division 2
At the end of 2006/07 Cookham Dean Magpies finished in third spot in Division which was a creditable outcome. Manager Dave Knight and
all his players deserve praise for playing some good football and competing at the top of the table right until the end. The side also reached the Semi- Final stage of the Subsidary Cup.
Great news for the club was that many of the players forced their way into the Senior Saturday sides and made a telling impression.
Xavier Ettienne, Adam Kennedy, Daniel Curl, Nathan Lishman and Dean Knight were amongst a group of lads who have impressed the First and Reserve team Managers with their enthusiasum and ability and the future is looking very good for the club |
