We have just released our latest club website update. The latest feature enhancements to your club website include:
- a restructuring of our core IT platform and performance improvements which had previously impacted on the speed of our service
- Social networking share options have been added across your site, allowing you to share your club pages via Facebook and Twitter
- the layout of your match reports has been improved to display more details about each fixture and respective cup round
- the video gallery now supports a number of new video file formats
- the album layout in your photo gallery has been improved
- the automated messages sent regarding 'Contact' page alerts plus forum, new player and new committee member registrations have been improved
- 'drag & drop' ordering has been added to the Club Shop admin page

Following the sad death of the Dean's most loyal supporter in July 2011 the committee have decided to name the Clubs Charity Trophy after him.
Each Christmas the club comes together to support local charities or worthy causes and this normally takes shape as a Football match and fundraising party in the club house between Christmas and the new year.
So from 2011 the teams taking part will be playing for the Ivan Harris Trophy which will be presented after each charity match as a tribute to a top supporter and loyal member of the Dean.
Dealing with Injuries

We all know that one of the downsides to playing Football is picking up injuries. You cannot do yourself justice on the pitch if you have a bad knock or even worse you miss playing the game altogether if you have a bad one.
We have added some useful notes on the subject on one of the sites new
sections 'Club Documents'. The reason for doing it is I know how stubborn some players can be about seeking treatment, and it is to the benefit of the club that we help our players get over physical problems as soon as we can.
