This season the Under 12's enjoyed another fantastic year.
It was their first year at 11-a-side and they joined the Bucks Free Press League. They topped division 3 playing some fantastic football, scoring over 100 goals and conceeding just 12 !
An amazing achievement.
During the season they took part in a half time penalty shoot out at Wycombe Wanderers and enjoyed a great day out.
On top of this they proved that they are a hit off the pitch as well in their fund raising preparations for their tour to Madrid. They went bag packing at Sainsbury's and washed cars at Cookham Station. Their efforts were hugely successful and they went to Madrid to take part in the "Alcala de Henares Cup". The tour was a valuable lesson for the boys who took part.
At the event they played against a higher age group,facing some fantastic opposition, including- Athletico Madrid, CD Avance and Plascencia.
The boys didn't bring home the Spanish cup but instead made a huge impact on the local fans and gained the respect of the opposition with their determination and great team spirit.
Once again the team have been a credit to the club, local youth football and the village.
