Having played at centre back for Cookham
Dean over the last two seasons Mark needs no intruduction to the clubs senior section and after coaching the
U10s successfully in their first full season the future at the youngest level in the Club looks very promising.
With his enthusiastic group of youngsters finishing 3rd in the league and only experiencing one defeat and then going on to win the League Plate Final on the last day of the campaign everyone is looking forward to the challenge of a new season.
Cookham Dean are no strangers to youth team football, but have never had a team starting in the lowest age group before and (hopefully) going all the way through to Senior level.
Everyone at the club is watching the teams progress with real interest and wish Mark and his team well.
Marks wife Claire also takes an active interest and keeps the U10s webpages up to date. Claire is also doing a fine job as the clubs Welfare officer.
Further good news at the end of 2006/07 was that Mark & Claires son Kai who also enjoyed an excellent first season in the team, was invited to train at Fulhams Youth Academy.
