ABOUT THE CUP This cup was first played for in season 2003/04 when St. Edmunds Boys were the winners. Last season Wickham Wanderers Youth beat Slough Crusaders in the final 4-2 at AFC Wallingford.

Internet favourite Google Earth updated it's Ariel pictures of the Cookham area on Sunday 28th October 2008 between 10.30 am and 12.10,
The Football Club had three matches going on at the same time as the aircraft flew overhead. The Under 18s were at home to Bourne end that day on the top pitch and the Sunday team were down the bottom pitch against Langley Wanderers, meanwhile the Under 12s were in action over on their pitch against Shinfield Rangers.
If you view the world via Google Earth you can see that the Alfred Major was simply a hive of activity. |

This Sunday 1st April a much anticipated game against Division A Champions Windsor Royals lays in store. The Windsor team is made up of some of the best football talent from this area and should be a thrilling game. The Windsor manager is a local Reading F.C. scout and Development centre coach. |
Trip to Fulham F.C. in April 06 (20/11/2006) |
An exciting trip to Fulham F.C in April has been arranged. The boys will go on to the pitch at half time and take part in a penalty shootout. Two teams of eight have been entered in the event and the boys will be shooting against their own goalkeepers. They will get to watch the whole of the Premiership match in which Fulham entertain Blackburn, family members and friends are welcome, if you require tickets please contact Claire : 01628 545016. |

Tony Willis, managing director of Renaissance Recruitment has stepped up to sponsor the under 10's. Tony is a local business man and a friend of the manager Mark. The club are very grateful for his sponsership. The boys shirts will be printed up later this year when they have a break from matches. |

This season the Dean will be running a new under 10 section in the Slough Combination mini league Mark Walters is the Coach and when training got under way there was 24 lads in attendance. Mark is being assisted by former Senior side Manager Domanic Gavin, and bewtween the two of them they should will be able to coach the boys to a good standard. The Under 10's football is a seven a side set up,with a maximum ten players taken to a game, and all ten must take part in the action. As for he rules there are no offsides in the games, free-kicks are all direct and the games are twenty minutes each way. For information about the U10s Contact Mark Walters 01628 545016
