How to Find us:
From Reading and the A4
At the Maidenhead Thicket roundabout which is the Junction of the A4/A404M go towards Maidenhead for just a few yards and turn left at the mini roundabout into Henley Road signpost Stubbings. Take the first turn right after 0.5ml into Pinkneys Drive,follow this road to its end in 0.9ml, and turn right onto the A308 travel for 0.8ml and take the first turning left at the traffic lights opposite Furze Platt Senior School.After 0.4ml Take the third turn on your left which is the B4447 Switchback Road North to Cookham. Follow this road to the end and at the mini roundabout turn left. Go over the railway line and take the first left into High Road. Follow the road round and up the hill. The entrance to the Alfred Major Recreation Ground is on the left hand side just before the school and library.
From The Bourne End/Marlow/Wycombe side:
From Cookham Bridge over the Thames go 150 yards around the sharp bend and turn right into Cookham Village High Street. Follow the road going straight over 2 mini roundabouts and over the railway line. Take the first left into High Road and follow the road round to the right and up the hill. The Alfred Major Recreation Ground is on the left before Cookham Rise School and the library.
From Slough:
After going over Maidenhead Bridge turn right at the roundabout towards Cookham/Bourne End. Follow this road for approximately 2.0 ml and take the left turn into Cookham Village High Street. Continue over 2 mini roundabouts and over the railway line. Take the first left and follow the road round and up the hill. The ground is on the left hand side before the school and library.
As there are 2 entrances to the park you can also follow directions to the club house on the home page.
