Sandhurst Devels have improved 100% from the team the Reserves entertained this time last year, and the Senior Division side look well prepared for the new season after this,their third friendly.
The game however was Cookham Reserves first game of pre season, and with many players out ( possibly as many as eight) this line up was a shadow of the side which will start the new campaign in September.Jason Strowger scored the Reserves only goal at the right end.
Cookham did help the Devels on their way to such an emphatic result though, as both the first and last efforts were own goals. Nothing can be red into the result but respect to Sandhurst who will no doubt be Senior Division title contenders in 2009/10.
