During a good competitive cup tie Cookham actually dominated for long periods in the 2nd half against a good Finchampstead side.
Finches had scored two cracking opportunist goals in an otherwise even 1st half.
One came from a header following a well delivered free kick and the other a well taken effort from the edge of the box, both giving the keeper little chance.
However this was an improved performance by Cookham but again the team were unable to convert the numerous chances they had created.
Some of the visitors highlights included a couple of excellent saves from an alert Dave Olver in goal, while there was also some more good wing play by Lee Miles, and in defence a couple of dramatic goal line clearances.
Dean Knight and Ricky Barnes both had good efforts in the game, while everyone in the side put in a good performance.
Player of the Match was Paul Sharpe despite one early error, the centre back was again strong and competitive.
The Reserves return to Premier Division action next Saturday when they face AFC Corinthians at home in a 2.30pm kick off
