A MARK OF RESPECT
Here is a Monday night update from team Captain Scott Allen who was Married on Saturday, and will soon off on his Honeymoon.
CPL Richard Green
It was great the teams did a minutes silence for Richard Green. He was best friends with my wife’s brother (who is also in the army and has just been to Afghan). My wife (Alicia) and her family also knew him really well and I have met him, a really nice bloke and such a waste that he has died. Alicia’s brother was at the Reading FC game on Sat and carried a flag in his memory onto the pitch (see attached, her brother is far right). He has really been affected by it so great to see the Reading league did the minute’s silence.
Sounds like we def deserved to win at Highmoor last weekend and good on the boys for playing so well – now don’t let them slip up to Berks County this week.
I'm off on honeymoon tomorrow ( Tues) so see you when I get back and hope the results go our way, Karl will keep me updated
Cheers
Scott
