The club is very optimistic that Dave Clarke and Karl Curtis can turn the fortunes of the first team around this season. Cookham Deans young squad are a year older and a year wiser than when Clarke stepped up from the Reserves at the start of the last campaign to manage the side. All the signs indicate that the Senior side will improve on last seasons points tally after a decent pre season and an opening day victory.
In the Senior Division Sandhurst Devels were the most improved side at the end of last season and might put in a challenge while Highmoor,Westwood & Ymca will no doubt be in the mix once again. But Cookham Dean will look to be there or thereabouts themselves in what is an historical season for the club which is celebrating it's 130th year......especially if Clarke has something to do with it.
